A Joint I/OCT Course with Georgia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Lithuania, and the US
The United States continues support to the Georgian Defence Forces in its mission to build interoperability with allied and partnered nations. This week, the Joint Training and Evaluation Center conducted the semi-annual International Observer, Coach, Trainer Course (I/OCT Course) with participants from Georgia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Lithuania, and the United States. The I/OCT Course fully supports NATO interoperability by increasing the number and quality of OC/Ts for multinational training exercises up to the battalion unit level. After the five-day course, students are fully prepared to observe, assess, and provide feedback to training units in Georgia and across Europe in accordance with NATO standards.
