Ambassador Degnan attends closing ceremony of GDP-RSM Certification Exercise at Vaziani
Today, Ambassador Kelly C. Degnan had the honor of attending a ceremony marking the completion of the Certification Exercise for the Georgia Deployment Program – Resolute Support Mission (GDP-RSM). This exercise is another bright point in the more than 10-year history of this program, with Georgia taking the lead in planning, executing and hosting. Georgia has now demonstrated not only its commitment to supporting NATO, but also its capacity to train and certify its own defense units for these missions.
Ambassador Degnan personally thanked the brave Georgians of the GDP for their service and wished them well as they prepared to depart on their mission to Afghanistan.
