Ambassador Degnan Attends Graduation Ceremony of Georgian Model United Nations Conference 2022
US Ambassador Kelly Degnan attended the 2022 Georgian Model United Nations Conference, which is held every year through International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA), a New York-based organization with a strong non-formal education footprint in Georgia in partnership with Kant’s Academy. Young people aged 13 to 21 were able to participate in the three-day GIMUN conference, where they had the opportunity to discuss significant global issues, including foreign policy after the COVID pandemic, and Russia’s war brutal against Ukraine.
