Ambassador Degnan Visits Tsalenjikha Cathedral
Ambassador Degnan visited Tsalenjikha Cathedral, an historic Georgian church built between the 12th and 14th centuries, and famous for its special paintings influenced by the Byzantine Palaeologan era. The church has three sections with arches, with two of them used as a chapel for the House of Dadiani. We understand how important it is to protect this valuable heritage. That is why we have started a project through the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation to restore the Dadiani Palace to its original splendor.
