Ambassador speaks at British Medical Journal Training Initiative Launch

On August 10, Ambassador Kelly joined Mr. Davit Sergeenko, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, to launch the British Medical Journal (BMJ) Training Initiative in Georgia.  Sponsored by the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency, this exciting initiative will provide up-to-date resources and web-based learning for Georgia’s health care clinicians. This includes online learning websites, which are critical to the continuing medical education and professional development of Georgia’s doctors. This initiative is another great example of the United States’ commitment to improving the quality of healthcare in Georgia.  Georgia’s National Center for Disease Control shared additional information about the program on their website: http://www.ncdc.ge/Home/Article/6648
