




Ambassador Dunnigan Commends George C. Marshall Center's Engagement in Black Sea Region
On November 16, Ambassador Dunnigan attended the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies’ annual Black Sea Regional Alumni Forum. At the event, esteemed Marshall Center graduates gathered to discuss the challenges facing Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine as they move toward EU membership. Under General John Shalikashvili’s leadership, the center was established to strengthen post-Cold War Europe through regional engagement and education. Drawing on his diverse experiences in Poland, Germany, Georgia, and the American Midwest, General Shalikashvili greatly contributed to rebuilding the post-Soviet world. Ambassador Dunnigan praised General Shalikashvili’s lasting impact and applauded the center’s continual support in empowering its partners.
