U.S. Embassy in Georgia

I am so thrilled to join the Minister of Agricultural here today at this year’s Expo, which is supported by the United States Department of Agriculture.  The United States invests in Georgia’s dairy and beef sectors to make the sectors more resilient, more modern, and more productive.  We work very closely with the Georgian government industry partners and all stakeholders to make this happen.  This is one of my first events that I’m doing in Georgia, and I’m so thrilled that it’s this.  The United States is truly committed – and we have been for many years – to working with Georgian farmers, Georgian agribusinesses, Georgian stakeholders, and most importantly, the Georgian government, to help make this sector stronger.  I can’t wait to walk around with the Minister and see the different foods and the work of the great farmers of Georgia.
