Ambassador Kelly announced the winners of the second-annual Millennium Innovation Challenge (February 12)

steAmbassador Kelly had the pleasure of announcing the winners of the second-annual Millennium Innovation Challenge.  Millennium Challenge Account Georgia sponsors the Challenge, which receives funding from the U.S. Embassy , and promotes science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines with Georgia lower and upper secondary school students (ages 12-17).  Thissolar year sixty-five teams from nine regions of Georgia submitted projects, with ten finalist teams going on to present their i
nnovative projects to judges on February 12.  Congratulations to the winners from Tbilisi’s Aia-gess School and New Lyceum School, who will be participating in the Conrad Foundation’s Spirit of Innovation Challenge held at NASA’s Space Center Houston.  Pictured are Ambassador Kelly and the winning team, showing off their solar panel efficiency project.
