Q-n about the meeting
Ambassador Kelly Degnan: It was a very substantive conversation, I really enjoyed it. We covered a number of topics, including security cooperation, our economic cooperation, and opportunities to increase our economic ties. We had a good discussion about the importance of education, including the recent program initiative for $7 million that USAID recently unveiled, and that should work very well in complement to the initiatives that the government of Georgia has also unveiled. And of course, we talked about continuing democratization of Georgia, and this being an important election year both here in Georgia and of course, in the United States as well. So, I am looking forward to working with the government of Georgia, and the people of Georgia, and civil society, on the democratic process here, while we go through the same thing in the United States. Thank you.
