Ambassador Kelly underscores U.S. commitment to promoting disability rights (December 10)

On International Human Rights Day December 10, Ambassador Kelly attended an event organized by First Step Georgia (FSG), a non-profit organization striving to enhance the quality of life of children with special needs. FSG has worked to ensure safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for children with mental and physical disabilities.  In his conversations during the art exhibit by children with disabilities, Ambassador Kelly underscored that the U.S. is committed to promoting disability rights in Georgia.  He also noted that it should be a goal of societies around the world to help their citizens with disabilities realize their fullest potential, so they, too, can lend their rich contributions to the national life of nations everywhere.
