On April 18 Ambassador Norland attended the opening of the US-based Precision Auto Service in Batumi. After Tbilisi, this is the second Precision Auto franchise to be opened in Georgia, with two more scheduled later this year in Kutaisi and Rustavi. Thy opening represents part of a $2 million investment by the US government’s Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), which has invested over $500 million in Georgia since 1993. We are delighted that U.S.-Georgia commercial relations continue to expand, especially in regions outside of Tbilisi. Precision Auto is a leader in its field and brings 40 years of experience and US know-how to Georgia’s dynamic car market.
