Ambulances Donation to the LEPL Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center

On 22 February, the U.S. European Command Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) donated four high mobility ambulances to the LEPL Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center.
The vehicles are donated through the U.S. Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance (HA) Program and will enhance ability of the LEPL Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center to provide emergency medical service to high mountainous regions of Georgia.
The donation is part of a larger effort that U.S. European Command provides to Georgia to improve emergency preparedness of the country by both equipment donations and training.
During the donation ceremony, Director of the Center Avtandil Talakvadze and Bilateral Affairs Officer (BAO) Major Quintin T. Doll discussed future cooperation plans to support overall healthcare goals of the country.
