The Development Partner Coordination Group is a formally recognized body comprised of all major bilateral and multilateral development partners operating in Georgia, including International Financial Institutions. The Development Partner Coordination Group views the Forum as a useful platform to jointly reflect on progress seen in areas fostered by external aid and to identify opportunities to further increase results and strengthen coordination.
At the Forum, parties shared ideas with other governments and institutions working in Georgia to promote economic growth, human rights, rule of law, and stronger democratic institutions.
The January 29 meeting signals the Government of Georgia’s commitment to engaging in this manner and fulfilling its obligations to the Development Partner Coordination Group.
