The U.S. Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce the opening of the Coordinating Agricultural Development and Innovation exchange program competition for short-term (1-2 weeks) training in the United States of America. The program is offered to trout aquaculture sector representatives, managers, and administrators working on aquaculture development, trade, agribusiness management, and marketing from the public and private sectors. Knowledge of English language is preferred but NOT mandatory to participate in the program.
CADI trout exchange program is part of the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service implemented in cooperation with the University of Idaho, Mississippi State University, Farmer of Future and Agricultural Extension Center of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
Program objectives are to assist Georgia develop trout aquaculture systems necessary to meet the food needs of its domestic population, and to strengthen and enhance trade linkages with the United States and other countries. Applicants from Adjara Autonomous Republic will have the priority during selection process as this activity is part of the USDA’s ongoing pilot program in Adjara.
