The United States Embassy Tbilisi is proud to announce the Youth Entrepreneurship Program for Azerbaijan and Georgia, the On-Demand Caucasus Youth Leadership Program 2017. 10 secondary school students and one mentor from Georgian will join 10 students from Azerbaijan to participate in in-country and U.S. based entrepreneurship trainings and workshops. The program will employ a highly interactive approach both in workshops and in a range of public and community settings. Through engagement in activities with U.S. high schools, community organizations, youth groups, and community leaders in each location, the student and adult participants study challenges facing the U.S. and Azerbaijan-Georgia cross-border region in the 21st century.
The program will be intensive, academic, and highly interactive. The program sponsors seek energetic visionaries from all diversity and disability groups who are ready to develop their skills in order to be effective leaders in their schools and communities.
Student participation is on a nomination basis only. Students will be nominated by Officers from the State Department, USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and select partner organizations.
The U.S. Embassy is seeking one adult mentor to accompany Georgian youth to the United States August 28- September 23.
