CDA Elizabeth Rood’s Remarks to Media at Dialogue Platform Event (October 7)
Q-n about the event
Charge d’affairs, Elizabeth Rood: The United States Embassy is very pleased to support this dialogue on quality of life and preserving cultural heritage. We believe it is very important in a country like Georgia, where cultural heritage is so very, very important, that urban planning and design take the cultural heritage and its preservation into account. The United States Embassy, through this dialogue and through other things such as the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, as well as many exchange programs, has been supporting and will continue to support preserving cultural heritage and urban planning in Georgia.
