CDA Elizabeth Rood’s Remarks to Media at MCC Renovated School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Kutaisi (June 6)
At the reopening of Kutaisi #10 and #32 Public Schools reopening
Q-n about the event
Charge d’Affairs, Elizabeth Rood: Through our $54 million investment in Georgia’s schools, we will help Georgian students get a world-class education. Nearly 1,500 students in Kutaisi School #10 and School #32, which we reopened today, will now benefit from a modern learning environment. These students are among the 37,000 Georgian schoolchildren who will now have the opportunity to maximize their potential, thanks to support from the U.S. Government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation.
