CDA Rood’s comment to media after the meeting between the opposition and the ruling party (November 30)
Q-n: about the details of the dialogue that has just finished, of the ruling party considers the German model complies with the Georgian constitution
CDA Rood: This morning, before this meeting started, I said that we hoped we would begin the discussion in good faith, aimed at restoring trust, and find the way forward to address the challenges facing Georgia now. I am very pleased to say that we accomplished that goal. I do not want to characterize the discussion in any detail, but we did talk about different options, different ways forward. But most importantly, we agreed to continue the conversation. The opposition and the ruling party have both agreed that there should be further discussions, and the United States and our other international partners stand ready to help in this process.
