CDC and Kyrgyzstan MOH Delegation Participate in Annual Hepatitis Workshop
On September 21-22, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in partnership withthe Georgia National Center for Disease and Public Health (NCDC), supported the Annual Hepatitis Workshop in Tsinandali, Georgia. The workshop included a high level delegation from the Ministry of Health in Kyrgyzstan where efforts to implement a national hepatitis program is currently underway. The CDC and NCDC are committed to the elimination of hepatitis and sharing Georgia’s achievements in Hepatitis C control with partners across the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region.
