Celebrating Veterans Day with Internally Displaced Students

In celebration of American Veteran’s Day this week, the U.S. Embassy hosted internally displaced high school students from Odzisi and nearby villages for an in-person conversation with the U.S. Defense Attache Col Bilbo, Master Sergeant Templeton, and Major General Janjgava. Students learned about the significance of Veterans Day in America and discussed the shared experience of American and Georgian service members who served together in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission.
