Certified U.S. Trade Mission Brings U.S. Companies to Georgia (October 18)

 

TBILISI, October 18, 2017 –  U.S. Embassy Tbilisi, together with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the America-Georgia Business Council, is bringing twelve U.S. companies to Georgia for private sector and government meetings.

Companies from the construction, logistics, communications, and technology sectors will hold over 100 business-to-business meetings with the aim of increasing trade, investment, and people-to-people ties between the United States and Georgia.  In meetings with Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Minister of Economy Giorgi Gakharia, and others, the trade mission is also an opportunity for the Georgian government to showcase its economic reforms, high business environment rankings, and strategic location on the New Silk Road.

Participating companies are:  Acrow Bridge, Baron Weather, Bechtel, Budget, Coca-Cola, Lockheed Martin, Miyamoto International, MWH, Nova Power, Obie Technologies, The Greenbrier, and VISA.
