CDA Rood: It is a great honor for me today to attend this ceremony in which we send off to Afghanistan the brave Georgian soldiers of the 11th Battalion along with the American sailors and Marines of the Georgian liaison team. We deeply, deeply value the service of our Georgian partners who, with bravery and dedication, serve side by side with us in Afghanistan, and we wish them a safe deployment and very safe return to their families.
