Deputy Chief of Mission Nicholas Berliner attended a training demonstration of Georgia’s Crisis Manage Council at the new Crisis Management Center.  The demonstration was part of a weeklong exercise, ending a series of interagency training events that have been conducted over the past two years.  The events were coordinated by the U.S. European Command, and managed by the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  The exercise was designed to improve the Georgian Government’s ability to support Civil Military activities during a natural disaster.
