Location: In front of Parliament in downtown Tbilisi
Event: Reports indicate that a demonstration may occur in front of Parliament in downtown Tbilisi on Sunday, November 8 at 3pm. Sporadic, short notice or unannounced rallies or protests may continue to occur throughout the country in response to the Georgian parliamentary elections.
U.S. Government personnel have been advised to avoid areas with a large police presence, which is an indicator of large gatherings with the potential for violence, and to exercise caution if in the vicinity of any demonstrations. Those who are in hotels, restaurants, or other businesses near protest activity should remain in the building until crowds dissipate.

- Keep a low profile
- Stay alert in locations frequented by tourists
- Review your personal security plans
- Have travel documents up to date and easily accessible
