Education Fest featuring a blues band from the U.S. (September 28)
U.S. Embassy will host an Educational Festival in Koda, Telavi, Akhmeta and Tbilisi from October 1st – 5th. During the festival the Embassy is proud to present a concert by the U.S. blues band, Matuto. U.S. Embassy Educational Programs staff will be on hand to represent U.S. Embassy-sponsored educational exchange programs to school pupils and students, teachers, and researchers. Center for International Education (CIE) representatives will present information about how to determine the correct institution and fill out an application for financial aid for those who want to study in America. Millennium Challenge Georgia representatives will present information about the San Diego State University in Georgia programs. The festival will also feature a variety of USAID environmental, youth, and educational programs implemented bin Koda, Telavi, Akhmeta, and Tbilisi.
Each organization will have its own table, where their work will provide all interested persons.
