On September 16, the U.S. Embassy’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Director Michael McMahon met with Givi Mikanadze, the newly appointed Rector of the Academy of Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.  During the course of the meeting,  INL handed over to the Academy a donated portable firearms training simulation machine.  This virtual training simulator will be used for training of law enforcement officers to effectively reinforce their marksmanship skills, judgmental training objectives, and general weapons familiarization skills. The Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs helps countries deliver justice and fairness by strengthening their police, courts, and corrections systems.
