Embassy and University of Colorado promote youth innovation and entrepreneurship in Georgia (April 29)

On April 29 at the US Embassy, Georgian high school students from the Koda settlement outside Tbilisi held their first video conference on innovation and entrepreneurship with American business students from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.  The goal of the digital meeting was to begin introducing Georgian youth to contemporary innovation concepts and the development of business solutions based on emerging technologies.  Six University of Colorado students majoring in the field of business innovation are serving as consultants to the Koda high school students as they jointly explore ways to develop innovative, home-grown businesses in Koda that meet the needs of local community and create jobs.  The Koda-Colorado Springs connection will continue to flourish via Facebook, Skype, and Google Hangouts, so stay tuned for some amazing innovation from Koda!
