Empowering Georgian Women: USAID's YES-Georgia Program Celebrates Entrepreneurial Success

Ambassador Dunnigan was inspired by the success of Georgia’s women entrepreneurs, who are engaged in activities ranging from food production in Zugdidi to operating a language school in Marneuli. She celebrated the success of USAID’s YES-Georgia program, highlighting how the U.S. Government has supported women entrepreneurs to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. In total, the USAID program has reached more than 10,000 women with business financing, training, mentorship, and networking activities. This USAID program is part of the U.S. Government’s broader effort, working with Government of Georgia partners and the private sector, to empower women to contribute more fully to Georgia’s economic prosperity.
