Call for participation in an executive fellowship on Museum curation and management (June 30)

The U.S. Embassy is proud to announce an open call for participation in an executive fellowship on Museum curation and management. Award-winning museum exhibition designer Patrick Gallagher will lead a special workshop for select museum staff on creative and innovative curation and exhibition design. Gallagher has worked on exhibits for the International Spy Museum and the National Archives museum in Washington, DC, the Sant Ocean Hall at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, CA etc… and is known for his unique architectural vision and bold optics. His focus on mood, use of space, light, and proportion, have won him accolades and mention around the world.

15 candidates will be selected to participate in the workshop for free, with all transportation, accommodation and food provided by the U.S. Embassy. For a chance to be chosen for the fellowship, please send your CV and a statement of interest (250 words or more) to tbilisicultural@state.gov by midnight, July 6, 2017. Please indicate Workshop on Museum curation and management in the subject line, otherwise your application will not considered.
