Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS)
Enhances Georgia’s Rapid Border Enforcement Response Capacity

From June 27 to July 1, an EXBS-funded team of twenty Customs and Border Protection security specialists conducted specialized training for twenty border guards from the Rapid Response Force (RRF). The training was a follow-up of the assessment carried out earlier in May on the Georgia Border Police’s (GBP) border response capabilities. It was focused on mission planning, survival skills, tactical combat casualties care, operational preparedness and readiness, patrolling and rapid response team movements, and Land Navigation. The engagement is part of EXBS’s commitment to strengthen Georgia’s border response capabilities.
