Georgia welcomes Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action regarding Iran’s nuclear program (April 6)

mfaThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia welcomes the solutions on key parameters of a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached in Lausanne, Switzerland within the frames of ongoing negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program among the European Union, E3+3 countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Georgian side expresses its satisfaction with the fact that the sides reached a consensus and agreed on solutions with regards to complex issues related to the Iran’s nuclear program. Georgian side expresses hope that based on the agreed parameters the sides will reach a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action by the set date which will be suitable to all stakeholders. We hope that the process envisioned under the JCPOA will take place in full accordance with the agreement.

The Ministry believes that the reached solutions represent an important step towards peace and stability in the region and the entire world and commends the involved Parties in the negotiations for their immense efforts to that effect.
