Georgian High School Students Participate in Webchat “Youth Setting the Global Agenda” with UN Youth Observers (October 1)

The U.S. Embassy invited Georgian high school students to participate in an interactive web chat, “Youth Setting the Global Agenda,” with young Americans who have served as Youth Observers to the United Nations.  The high school students asked questions related to issues the United Nations Organization deals with, such as sustainable development goals, climate change, gender equality, and violent extremism.  The Georgian students heard ways how youth around the world can take action to help solve today’s pressing issues.  Some of the students who participated in the web chat have been selected to participate in the National Model United Nations’ conference to be held later this month in Washington D.C.
