Ambassador Ross Wilson’s Comment to Media at the 6th National Hepatitis C Workshop (March 6)

 

Q-n about the progress made in the Hepatitis C elimination program

CDA Ross Wilson: the United States is very proud of our cooperation here on Hepatitis C elimination program in this country. Through this program some 1.5 million citizens of this country have been screened for Hepatitis C, over 55 thousand have been treated, over 3 000 lives have been saved.  This reflects America’s strong support for Georgia in a whole variety of fields,  we are very proud of this work and this cooperation together.
