INL supports the development of female law enforcement officers in Georgia

The U.S. Embassy and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) are proud to support the development of female law enforcement officers in Georgia. This week, we are supporting the participation of eleven female law enforcement representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance, and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia in the 59th Annual International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. This was the first time a Georgian delegation has attended this prestigious international conference, where they will learn from renowned speakers from across the globe on topics such as leadership; wellness and resilience; equity, diversity, and inclusion; technology; and investigative case studies. INL is proud to continue our support in this area as we aim to empower and connect female law enforcement in Georgia and increase their representation in leadership positions within their organizations.
