New York Times bestselling author Isaac Marion’s visit to Georgia (May 25)

The U.S. Embassy is proud to sponsor New York Times bestselling author Isaac Marion’s visit to Georgia as part of the Tbilisi International Festival of Literature. Mr. Marion will speak at the Writer’s House of Georgia on Tuesday, May 30 at 20:00. He will give a presentation about his debut novel Warm Bodies and answer questions about young adult fiction writing and marketing. The Writer’s House is located at 13 Ivane Machabeli St, Tbilisi.

Isaac Marion grew up in the American Pacific Northwest, where he worked as a heating installer, a security guard, and a visitation supervisor for foster children before publishing his debut novel in 2010. Warm Bodies became a New York Times bestseller and inspired a major film adaptation. It has been translated into twenty-five languages. Isaac lives in Seattle with his cat, Watson, writing fiction and music and taking pictures.
