Rukhi Hospital Receives Critical Medical Equipment and Expands Patient Capacity
The Rukhi Republican Hospital was given essential state-of-the-art medical equipment on Friday, enabling doctors to perform life-saving procedures for citizens from Samegrelo and beyond. Moreover, the Government of Georgia officially assigned Rukhi Hospital as the designated facility to treat patients seeking medical aid from Abkhazia, with a capacity to accommodate up to 140 patients simultaneously. The United States, represented by the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), contributed over $100,000 worth of equipment, encompassing cutting-edge surgical lighting, an advanced operating table, a patient monitor, an anesthesia machine, and a video colposcopy.
