State of Georgia Army National Guard Logisticians visit Georgia (April 24)

From April 18 to 25, four logisticians of the 348th Brigade Support Battalion from the State of Georgia Army National Guard (GA ARNG) are visiting Georgia to share their experience with their Georgian Ministry of Defense counterparts. LTC Thomas Meeks (Battalion Commander), MAJ Quinton Doll (Battalion Support Operations Officer), SGT 1st Class Richard Pledger (Battalion S4 Sergeant), and SGT 1st Class Alden Williams (48th Brigade Medical Readiness NCO) conducted information exchange seminars for both Western and Eastern Operations Command in Senaki and Vaziani Training Areas.  This is the second BSB visit to Georgia and will be followed in June by a familiarization event where four Georgian logisticians will attend a 348thBSB field exercise at Fort Stewart, Georgia in the U.S. These ongoing events are part of the 20-year State Partnership Program between the Country of Georgia and the State of Georgia and will continue to strengthen the relationship and mutual capabilities.
