State Security Service of Georgia and USA Terrorist Screening Center Sign an Intergovernmental Agreement (June 27)

On June 27, 2017, Charles H. Kable IV, Assistant Director for the FBI, who currently serves as the Director of the United States Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) and Irakli Chimakadze, Head of the Counterterrorism Center, State Security of Georgia signed an “Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Georgia for the Exchange of Terrorist Screening Information.”

“I want to thank the State Security Service of Georgia for its leadership in finalizing this agreement, which furthers the important goal of enhancing the sharing of terrorism information,” said Director Kable. “We look forward to continued cooperation between our governments to protect the national security of both the United States and Georgia. This agreement will enhance our joint counterterrorism efforts and build up on the successes we have already achieved.”
