On April 8, students and teachers from a public school in Georgia’s region of Guria visited the US Embassy to learn about America’s support of NATO-Georgia relations. A political officer and the Embassy’s military and press attaches gave presentations about the work of the Embassy, focusing on how America is supporting Georgian aspirations to join NATO. During the second part of the event, the students participated in an engaging discussion with the diplomats to learn more about the benefits of NATO membership for Georgia. Representatives of the Information Center on NATO and EU organized the visit to the Embassy as part of NATO Week commemorations in Georgia.
