The consequences of ending the arms embargo against Iran

The United Nations arms embargo on Iran expires in October. If it is not extended, Iran can supply weapons that fuel conflicts such as those in Lebanon and Yemen. The weapons could be used to attack Israel or Saudi Arabia.

Without the embargo, Iran can sell weapons around the world to dictators such as Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela.
