The U.S. supports Georgia in CBRN threat preparedness (December 11)

Today CDA Elizabeth Rood opened the 5th Annual Interagency Council on CBRN threats and highlighted the United States and Georgia’s shared commitment to, and investment in, global security.

The United States, through the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), committed equipment and training to Georgia in order to modernize its capabilities, bolster response competencies, and ensure preparedness against all CBRN hazards and threats. This effort will allow Georgian Ministries to better detect and defend Georgia’s population from internal and external threats of all kinds.

The United States is proud to support Georgia in this very important mission.
