U.S. Defense Attaché delivers keynote speech at Georgian Georgian Command and General Staff Course Graduation (May 28)

On May 28, Georgia National Defense Academy celebrated its 22nd anniversary along with the Georgian Command and General Staff Course (CGSC) graduation. President Margvelashvili, Minister of Defense Khidasheli and U.S. Military Attaché in Georgia Colonel Dimmick spoke at the graduation ceremony.  Established in 2010 with the support of the United States, over 110 field grade officers, 2 civilians and 1 non-commissioned officer have graduated from the CGSC, the highest level of military education in Georgia. The Unites States actively supports the development of Georgia’s military education system by both establishing schools here and sending Georgian officers and cadets to various U.S. military academies and institutions of higher learning.
