U.S. Defense Institute for International Legal Studies Discusses New Defense Code
with Georgian Ministry of Defense
Members of Parliament’s Defense and Security Committee, Georgia’s Ministry of Defense legal team, Georgian Defense Forces General Staff, Georgian National Guard, and Georgian Special Operations Forces met virtually with the U.S. Defense Institute for International Legal Studies on Monday and Wednesday (the 1st and 2rd of November, respectively) to discuss Georgia’s new defense code. The focus of the conversations was enabling organizational change management, mission command, and resilience/resistance capabilities; changes which increase the lethality and deterrence effect of Georgia’s Ministry of Defense.
