U.S. Embassy Tbilisi’s Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) handed over 89 computers and printers to the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia in support of the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) elimination program, through which the ministry works to decentralize to ensure increased access to the treatment across the regions of Georgia.

ODC’s Bilateral Affairs Officer, Major Quintin Doll, delivered part of this donation to the clinic in the village Galavani, Mtskheta Municipality, where he was greeted by Davit Torua, Deputy Director of LEPL Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center. This donation of digital equipment was made possible through the U.S. Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance program, which has been actively involved in supporting Georgia’s humanitarian needs.
