On June 5, Cultural Attaché James Dewey and Press Attaché Dan Hastings held a press conference at Tbilisi’s Press Club to promote the grand finale of America Days.  The culmination of the four city, weeklong celebration across Georgia culminates on Saturday, June 6, in Tbilisi, at Rike Park, from 4:00 to 10:00 pm.  Dangerflow, the renowned hip-hop and rock fusion group from Miami, Florida, will perform a live concert from 8:00 – 10:00 pm on Metehki Bridge.

Supported by US Embassy, the Ministry of Culture and the municipalities of Tbilisi, Gori, Akhaltsikhe, and Zugdidi, America Days celebrates US-Georgian relations through American Studies conferences, information fairs on US assistance and development programs in Georgia, and live dance and music performances by Georgian and American artists.  America Days began in Zugdidi on June 2, then relocated to Akhaltsikhe on June 3, and continued on June 4 in Gori.  The weeklong celebrations culminate in downtown Tbilisi on June 6.
