U.S. Embassy Organized Forensic Training for Georgian Investigators
Last week, U.S. Embassy’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section (INL) organized training on crime scene management and evidence handling techniques for investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. This two-day interactive training was led by American and Georgian forensic experts. Training participants were introduced to the general rules of crime scene management and proper evidence handling techniques necessary to safely collect, package and transport different types of evidence to the laboratory for forensic examination.
