U.S. Embassy Tbilisi Donates 7,500 Locally-Made Disposable Medical Gowns to Ministry of IDPs (April 30)

Today the US Embassy, with assistance from the Georgian Defense Forces, handed over 7500 locally-made disposable medical gowns to the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. The US support to the Georgian government is a demonstration of the long-standing US-Georgia Defense partnership and was made possible through the US Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance program. Defense Attache of the US to Georgia – COL Stephanie Bagley and MAJ Quintin Doll from the Office of Defense Cooperation were greeted by the Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia – Giorgi Tsotskolauri at the Ministry’s storage facility. Georgian Defense Forces assisted the US Embassy with the transportation of personal protection equipment (PPE).
