University students discuss U.S. foreign policy with Ambassador and other diplomats at U.S. Embassy (December 4)

For the past several weeks, forty students from International Black Sea University (IBSU) and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) have gathered at the U.S. Embassy to participate in a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on U.S. foreign policy organized by IBSU Associate Professor Khatuna Burkadze.  For the session focused on U.S. policy in Europe, students met with Ambassador Ian Kelly and Political and Economic Counselor Dwight Nystrom to discuss U.S. policy in the region.  Through the program participants have been learning about U.S. foreign policy through online lectures by Duke professor Bruce Jentleson and discussions with American diplomats.
