US Army National Guard Military Police Officers Share Their Experience with Their Georgian Counterparts (May 4 – 7)

On May 4 – 7, two military police (MP) officers from the State of Georgia Army National Guard (GA ARNG) are visiting Georgia to share their experience with their Georgian Ministry of Defense counterparts. MAJ Adam Smith and MSG Meara Brown are in Georgia to evaluate the progress Georgian Armed Forces (GAF) have made in  MP structural reforms and share their experience to better integrate MP units in GAF Operational Commands and increase their NATO interoperability.  This is the second MP visit to Georgia that, in July, will be followed by a familiarization event where four Georgian MP officers will attend MP school training and a field exercise at Fort Stewart, Georgia. These ongoing events are part of the 20 year State Partnership Program between the Country of Georgia and the State of Georgia and will continue to strengthen the relationship and mutual capabilities.
