

US European Command’s (USEUCOM) Overseas Humanitarian Disaster Assistance and Civic Aid (OHDACA) Project Development Workshop Conducted in Batumi, Adjara Autonomous Republic (December 3-7)
The Tbilisi Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) hosted US European Command’s (USEUCOM) Overseas Humanitarian Disaster Assistance and Civic Aid (OHDACA) Project Development Workshop in Batumi, Adjara Autonomous Republic December 3-7, 2018. The purpose of the OHDACA Project Development Workshop is to develop FY20 OHDACA projects with HQ USEUCOM Humanitarian Assistance (HA) and Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) program managers, U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) Chiefs/Bilateral Affairs Officers (BAO)/Locally Engaged Staff (LES) who manage HA/HMA projects, component implementers, and other key stakeholders. Seventeen European countries participated. Representatives from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), USAID, the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Georgian Emergency Management Service (EMS), Ministry of Defense (MoD), Government of Adjara, and Government Administration of Georgia participated. Stakeholders visited a recently completed, DoD funded school renovation in Keda as part of the workshop.
